Scottsdale Western Week 2026: A Celebration of Heritage and Community

Scottsdale is set to commemorate its rich Western heritage with the annual Scottsdale Western Week, running from Saturday, January 24, through Sunday, February 1, 2026, in Old Town Scottsdale.

 

The festivities kick off on January 24 with the Western Week at the Farmers Market, featuring live country music and a selection of fresh produce and indigenous specialties.

 

On January 25, families can enjoy the Parks & Rec Wild West Roundup at the Scottsdale Civic Center, offering games, crafts, and Western-style fun.

 

January 26 brings Scottsdale’s Magical History Tour at the Civic Center Library, where Cowboy Bob Scott will share stories of early 20th-century Scottsdale.

 

Throughout the week, Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West will host free admission days, classic Western films, and the debut of the exhibit "Still in the Saddle: A New History of the Hollywood Western."

 

Art enthusiasts can explore Western-themed exhibitions during the Western Week Gold Palette ArtWalk on January 29, featuring extended gallery hours and live entertainment.

 

On January 30, the Pony Express riders will arrive at Western Spirit, delivering mail and participating in a patriotic ceremony.

 

The week culminates on January 31 with the 72nd Annual Scottsdale Parada del Sol Historic Parade at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Trail’s End Festival, a Western-style block party with live entertainment and activities for all ages.
